Micron Plating Over Sterling Silver
Most of our designs are crafted from 925 sterling silver and finished with micron-thick gold (1–3 microns for gold-toned pieces) or silver plating, depending on the design.
As with all plated jewelry, the surface layer may naturally wear over time depending on skin chemistry, environment, and frequency of wear. This is considered normal and not a manufacturing fault.
To help preserve your plated jewelry:

Avoid contact with water, especially saltwater and chlorinated pools

Remove jewelry before showering, exercising, or sleeping

Keep away from perfume, lotions, and cleaning products

Store pieces in their EFEK pouch or box, away from humidity

Clean gently only when needed using a soft, dry cloth
Avoid excessive rubbing or chemical cleaners, as this may wear down the surface over time.
Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is a precious metal known for its strength and timeless appearance. It may naturally oxidize and darken when exposed to air and moisture. This is normal and can be polished back to shine with a soft silver cloth.
Store silver pieces in a dry place to help slow oxidation.
Solid Gold
Our solid gold pieces are crafted from high-quality gold alloys designed for everyday wear. Unlike plated jewelry, solid gold will not fade or lose its color over time.
However, we recommend avoiding harsh chemicals and strong impact to help preserve the surface and shine of your jewelry.
