Returns & Exchanges
Every EFEK piece is designed to be worn, kept and treasured. If you wish to request a return, please review the policy below.
Handcrafted Nature of the Product
Each EFEK piece is handcrafted and individually finished. Subtle variations, tool marks, asymmetries and surface characteristics are part of the design language of the brand and should not be considered defects.
Due to the handcrafted nature of EFEK jewelry, slight variations in shape, texture, finish, oxidation, brushing and surface details may occur from piece to piece. Product photographs are intended as a guide and may not represent every handmade detail exactly.
Such variations are part of the character and uniqueness of each piece and are not considered defects or grounds for return, exchange or refund.
Natural Stones
Many EFEK pieces feature natural gemstones and pearls, including but not limited to sapphire, ruby, emerald, tourmaline and freshwater pearls.
As these materials occur naturally, variations in color, tone, saturation, inclusions, transparency, shape and pattern are to be expected. No two stones or pearls are identical.
Product photographs are provided as a reference only and may not reflect the exact appearance of the stone or pearl received. Such natural variations are part of the character and uniqueness of each piece and are not considered defects or grounds for return, exchange or refund.
Jewelry Care & Natural Aging
Silver, gold-plated silver and oxidized finishes may naturally evolve over time depending on wear, storage conditions, skin chemistry, humidity and exposure to cosmetics, perfumes or chemicals.
Natural aging, oxidation, plating wear, scratches, accidental damage and normal signs of use are not considered manufacturing defects and do not qualify for return, exchange or refund.
Ring Sizes
While many EFEK rings are adjustable, certain styles are available in fixed sizes.
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct ring size when placing an order. If you are unsure about your size, we encourage you to contact us at hello@efekstudio.com before purchasing. We will be happy to assist you whenever possible.
Please review the product description carefully before placing your order, as sizing options may vary between styles.
Cancellation Before Shipment
Orders may be canceled free of charge before they have been shipped.
Once an order has been shipped, the applicable return policy of the customer's region will apply.
To request a cancellation, please contact hello@efekstudio.com as soon as possible.
European Union Customers
Customers located within the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the last item of their order, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, customers must notify EFEK within this 14-day period by contacting hello@efekstudio.com or through their customer account at account.efekstudio.com.
Once a withdrawal request has been submitted, items must be returned within 14 days.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:

Include all pouches, care cards, certificates (where applicable) and any accompanying materials originally supplied with the order
EFEK can provide a prepaid return shipping label upon request for a fee of €12, which will be deducted from the final refund amount.
Customers may alternatively arrange their own return shipment at their own expense.
Where customers choose to arrange their own return shipment, EFEK is not responsible for returns lost, damaged or delayed in transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service and retaining proof of postage until the return has been successfully delivered.
Upon receiving and approving the returned item(s), EFEK will issue a refund within 14 days using the original payment method.
Where required by applicable law, the original standard delivery charge paid at checkout will also be refunded.
United Kingdom Customers
Customers located within the United Kingdom may request a return within 14 days of delivery.
Items must be returned within 14 days of receiving return approval from EFEK.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:

International Customers (Outside the EU & UK)
For customers outside the European Union and United Kingdom, returns of eligible items may be requested within 14 days of delivery and are subject to approval by EFEK.

EFEK is not responsible for returns lost, damaged or delayed in transit, customs clearance issues or delivery problems caused by third-party shipping carriers.
Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receipt and approval of the returned item(s).
Original shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees and local charges are non-refundable.

Gift cards
For hygiene reasons, earrings, piercing jewelry, labret studs, body jewelry and any jewelry intended for pierced wear cannot be returned.
Made-to-Order & Custom Pieces
Made-to-order, customized, personalized and bespoke pieces are created specifically for the customer and are therefore excluded from cancellation, return and exchange rights once production has begun.
Solid Gold Pieces
Solid gold pieces are produced specifically for each order and therefore cannot be canceled, returned or exchanged once production has begun.
Faulty Items
Please inspect your order upon arrival.
If you receive a defective, damaged or incorrect item, please contact hello@efekstudio.com immediately.
If an item is confirmed to have a manufacturing fault, EFEK may offer a repair, replacement or refund.
Return shipping costs for approved faulty items will be covered by EFEK up to the original shipping amount paid.
Variations resulting from the handcrafted nature of the product or the natural characteristics of gemstones and pearls are not considered manufacturing faults.
Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, natural aging, oxidation, plating wear, scratches, accidental damage, improper use, improper storage or failure to follow care instructions is not considered a manufacturing fault.

Returns must be approved before being shipped back.
Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
Online purchases may only be returned by post to EFEK Studio in Milan.
Original shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes and brokerage fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
The customer is responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or local charges applicable in the destination country.
EFEK reserves the right to refuse returns that do not comply with this policy. Non-compliant returns will be returned to the sender at the customer's expense.
Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a different item is to return the original item (if eligible and approved) and place a new order separately.
